Our Yoga Gurus

– Subhash krishnan
Subhash's yoga journey started at a very young age when he was 18. He chanced upon Yoga which has become his passion now. He was first introduced to Yoga while working as an assistant to his guru during Yoga classes. Recognising his innate talent with movements , his guru convinced him to learn Yoga. Gradually he was drawn to the transformative effects of Yoga - the physical and mental benefits that Yoga offered. After learning initial lessons from his guru, he joined the Sivananda Vedanta Centre as a student and later did his teachers' training course also there and taught Yoga at the centre for a few years. He has done his basic TTC, Advanced training Yoga Shiromani and Yoga Bhaskara course.
To him now, yoga is a part of life to be practised daily on and off the mat. His classes are focused on body and breath awareness and mindfulness and to create a welcoming and enjoyable space for students. He believes Yoga inspires flexibility, stability and strength at all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Through sharing his own experiences, he brings to students a holistic approach to Yoga. His mantra is ' Keep breathing and keep smiling - You can do wonders’.

- A.Mohandas
An extremely dedicated and passionate teacher, Mohandas instills in students modern Yoga with traditional values. He focusses on an all round development – the physical, psychological and spiritual well being of the person . He has a deep understanding of teaching asana classes with mindful integration of meditation, breathing techniques and Yoga philosophy. His hands on approach and flexible style of teaching is suitable for anyone from complete beginners to the most advanced practitioners.
Mohandas is a Yoga Shiromani from the International Sivananda Yoga and Vedanta Centre. He is also proficient in Holistic Spa Therapy, Ayurveda massage and Panchkarma. And with a background in Kalaripayattu, the traditional martial art of Kerala, Das helps students to develop body awareness and a balance between flexibility and strength. His students say that he is a knowledge bank and they like him for his perfection in correcting Yoga postures while considering their body limits and safety. Mohandas helps students to find balance mentally, physically and spiritually providing them with a practice that they can apply in their daily life too, off the mat.
